Health & Fitness Days

Providing children with the opportunity to understand the importance of healthy living is something we’re particularly passionate about. At fit4schools we have adapted our health & fitness days to include nutrition workshops linking them to the Public Health England Change4life nutrition campaign.

Health and Fitness Days

Our Health and Fitness Days can incorporate both classroom based workshops and physical activity based sessions

Classroom Based Workshops

  • Delivering interactive presentations focusing on nutrition and the different food groups
  • Our workshops are differentiated for each key stage and include tasks for children to complete as evidence of their learning
  • All resources are provided by fit4schools

Physical Activity Sessions

  • Our physical activity based sessions can be conducted either in the school hall or school playground
  • Each session provides children with the opportunity to improve their physical literacy by experiencing new activities
  • Some of our most popular activities include: Quidditch, Boxercise, Exercise to Music and Volleyball but we offer a range of other activities

If you would like to host a Health and Fitness day at your school, please contact us to discuss how we can tailor the day to suit the needs for your children

Speak to fit4schools today

Fit4schools provided workshops across the school to support the children’s understanding of food and nutrition.  Fit4schools staff helped the children  link their physical fitness to diet as they were able to discuss the impact of food on performance. The staff were knowledgeable and engaging – as a result we have rewritten our food and nutrition policy inspired by the workshops. Ruth Leach, Headteacher, St Blaise C of E School
